故宮建於1406年，1420年基本竣工，是明朝皇帝朱棣時建，現在請大家跟我一起去故宮中最大的宮殿太和殿看看。這裡是明朝皇帝召見白宮發號施令舉行慶典的地方，全殿面闊間，進深五間，外有廊柱，殿內外立著72根大柱，殿高35米，殿內淨高達14米，寬63米，為全宮最大的木構大殿。
我們再來到中和殿，位於紫禁城太和殿之間。是皇帝去太和殿大典之前休息，幷接受執事官員朝拜的地方。
又玩了中和殿，我再帶大家去參觀保和殿，這座保和殿是清代的國宴廳及考舉科場。大家都知道，乾隆身邊有一位大臣叫劉墉，他就是在這保和殿考上狀元的。

今天，我將帶領大家一同參觀介紹北京最有名的故宮。故宮在北京市的中心，是明和清兩朝代的皇宮。故宮嘛，可是當今世界上現存最大、最雄偉、最完整的古代皇家宮殿。
朋友們，現在我們來到的是故宮的正門——午門，這個門為什麼要叫午門呢?是因為正午的太陽光芒四射而射進午門。故宮的城牆有四個大門，北有神武門東有東華門，西有西華門。
現在，請大家望望上面，大家可以看到足足有10米高的城牆上有一棟五層的樓。樓角輕微翹起看上去就像五隻鳳凰在翩翩起舞。
朋友們，進了門口，出現在我們眼前的就是五座白玉石橋，橋下是金水河。走過橋後，我們就來到了為故宮“三大殿”之首的太和殿。太和殿呀，可是所有宮殿中最大建築。高36米，寬63米，面積為2380平方米。而明清兩代的皇帝即位、春節等盛大的慶典都在這裡舉行。繞過這個大殿，我們就來到了中和殿，中和殿每邊21米，各三間，是一座方形殿。然後嘛，當然就來到了保和殿。保和殿東西兩側的房現在啊，可都已經改成為歷代藝術的陳列館。之後又去到乾清宮、交秦宮、坤寧宮……最後就來到御花園了。佈局緊湊，古典富麗。殿東北眼看有堆秀山，山上有御景亭，每年的重陽節都可以上去登高哩!
