When I looked down, dirty andpoisonous rivers are full of unrecyclable rubbish and giving out unpleasantsmells. When I looked forward, so many people wore their mouth masks. Everyonehere complains weather and environment. It seems so inharmonious between man andnature. Why?
As we know, in the past few centuries, human have made countless remarkableachievements in science and technology to explore the mysterious world uering nature with powerful tools, people have achieved material while, environment has been badly damaged. So a series of severe problemscome along, such as species extinction, energy crisis, incurable diseases, thethree main pollutions etc. All of these factors bring our beautiful planetdisasters, humanity as well. Let me show you some statistics. According to thereport from World Wide Fund for Nature, the species of entire world havedeclined by 52 % since 1970. That means about 75 kinds of precious speciesdisappear forever from the Earth each day. In addition, scientists claimed thathuman now need one and a half Earth to meet the demand for natural her frightening data from the UN in 20__, there are almost 8.4 millionpeople around the world who die of cancers caused by environmental issues everyyear. It is so horrible, isn’t it? Man has taken too much from nature, also paidsuch a heavy price for it. If we don’t try to change these situations, what willhappen one or two centuries later?
But, fortunately, the majority throughout the world are aware of thesignificance of environmental protection. Much many individuals,environmentalists and organizations have taken actions spontaneously. Companiesdonate part of their profits to support some green projects. Moreover,Government has carried out many policies to conserve endangered species, supportgreen industries and encourage people to live a green life. From a globalperspective, though it is a long journey to make the Earth recovered and to livein harmony with it, I do believe that, with everyone’s efforts, we will finallyget there.

No one，regardless of race, religion or nationality, can deny that the worldwe live in is becoming increasingly intolerable because of the effects of globalwarming. According to many experts, even greater impacts are still on theway.
There are numerous causes for this problem. On one hand, human-relatedemissions of carbon into the atmosphere is causing, and will in the futurecause, significant global warming according to the theory. On the other hand,the lack of knowledge about the importance of protecting environment hinders thesolving of the problem.
It is urgent that immediate and effective actions should be taken rightaway. First, more trees need to be planted to help improve and beautify theenvironment. To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a slative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect theforest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. Therefore,governments are playing the most important role in the environmental protectiontoday.
In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even moreconcrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance ofenvironmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should bemade to put the population planning policy into practice, because more peoplemeans more people means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy theenvironment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them knowthat destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.

我的看法是，為了保護環境，政府應當採取更具體的措施。首先，應當通過教育的方法使人們充分謒到環境保護的重要性。第二，應更加努力把計劃生育政策付諸實施，因為人口多就意味著汙染嚴重。最後，要嚴懲那些故意破壞環境者。使他們破壞環境就是毀滅人類自己。
Our environment is very important for our lives . We need the fresh air,the clean water and so on . In the past, there were many trees around us ,theair was fresh and the river was now,people cut down many trees. Airpollution and water polloution are very serious . The environment around usbecomes very terrible . We should protect our environment. First, we shouldplant many trees to keep water. Second , we can ride a bike or walk to theschool and work.. Third , we shouldn’t throw the dirty water into the river th, we shouldn’t use the plastic bags. Finally, we can ask more people tojoin us.
With the development of science and technology,global warming is becomingthe focus of human measures should be taken to protect ourplanet.
To begin with,it's essential to save energy because of limited instance,turn off water tap after washing hands and turn offlights immediately if there is no person in the 's more,we'd better goout on foot or by bike,instead of using vehicles in order to reduce carbonemission,which is also good to our des,we are supposed to reducewaste,and reuse what we can be ,no littering and planting moretrees are good ways to beautify our environment.
