借條的標準格式，必須達到以下幾點要求

一、標題一定要寫“借條”二字，切莫被別人故意誤寫成“欠條”， 特別注意：雖然都是錢在別人那，但在法律上結果卻是完全不同的;

二、一定寫明“今借到現金*元，註明大寫圓整。特別注意：核實大小寫相一致，如果大小寫數額不一致，司法實踐中會以大寫金額為準;

三、一定寫正確出借人姓名，身份證號碼，同時一定要寫明借款人的姓名和身份證號碼，以避免發生糾紛時再去核實借款人身份是否重名等問題;

四、如果不能確定要求借款人什麼時候歸還，建議出借人不寫歸還日期，這樣時效上可以保證20xx年，而不會由於一時忘記導致時效超過不能收回。懂得法律的人都知道，寫上歸還日期與不寫歸還日期差別不大。

五、如果要求給利息，一定要寫明，法律規定：不明確約定支付利息的，歸還時要求利息的是不予支援的;

六、借條最好是在A4紙上先將借款人的身份證正、反面影印在紙張的右下方，然後在上端書寫借條，另外，注意：簽字後最好請他或(她)以右手大拇指(我國無論是法院或律師等司法實踐中都是嚴格執行右手大拇指)捺指印。

七、因為他在向你借錢，主動權在你手上，所以在借錢之前完善手續是不成問題的。
