建議書是書信的一種，格式與一般書信大致相同：

1、有題目。可以寫：“建議書”或“關於×××的建議書”。

2、開頭頂格寫稱呼。

常用套語

1. 引出倡議目的

常用in order to引出的不定式短語或用with / for the purpose of引導的介詞短語。如：

倡議其實就是提建議，因此，可用be supposed to (應該)， it is suggested that... (建議)， it would be better if... (如果......，那就更好了)等。倡議的內容通常都不只一個，因此可用in addition， besides， additionally， what’s more， furthermore， moreover來列舉這些內容。如：

(1)we are supposed /required /expected to choose a healthy and environmentally-friendly way of traveling， that is， bicycle riding. 我們應該選擇一個既健康又環保的旅遊方式，那就是騎自行車。(XX湛江市一模)

3. 提出呼籲

提出呼籲可用it is (high) time that...句型，該句型中that從句的謂語動詞要用過去式或用should加動詞原形，should不可省略。也可用 in a word 引出呼籲的內容。如：
