第一部分：面試英語自我介紹講座：面試的基本知識
“如何作自我介招？”這個問題看上去似乎很簡單，人人都會。其實並不然，也有說的不是很理想的。主要的現象有幾下幾點：
1、 不知從何說起。有很多同學當聽到老師問：“can you make a self-introduction?”時，首先遲疑幾秒，然後怔怔的看著：“老師說什麼呀？”這一類算是“無準備型”。自我介紹是你與人打交道，參加各類口語考試，職場面試不可或缺的一部分，同時也是非常重要的一部分。作為口語測試，測試的老師其實重點考查的是你運用語言的能力，而不是對你的背景的瞭解。所以想把口語學好的同學不妨大膽的秀一下。
2、缺乏邏輯性。還有一些同學在作自我介紹時，要麼只說兩句話名字，年齡；要麼誇誇其談但缺乏邏輯性。別看簡簡單單的一個自我介紹有時也能反映出一個人的邏輯思維和做事態度。
3、缺乏幽默感。幽默的開場除了可以營造出活潑和睦的氣氛外，還能給對方留下深刻的第一印象，即使物件是以建立了朋友關係或同事關係的外國人，在酒會或聚餐等各式場合，同樣可以用詼諧的方式來表現自我，使你和他們之間的關係達到更圓滿的程度。
初學英語的各位人士，可以學著用一下；對於自認為用英語作自我介紹已經易如反掌的英語高手，不妨在平時也試試使自我介紹增添一些新意:)
1、 以星座為話題作自我介紹
i’m an aries. arians are supposed to be courageous leaders but troublesome followers. half true. i’m definitely a troublesome. follower. (我是牧羊座的。 牧羊座的人據說是很有膽識的領導人物，但同時也是很會惹麻煩的部屬。說對了一半，我的確是個麻煩的部屬。)
i’m a leo. some good leo traits are: broad-minded, loving, faithful. bad traits are: bossy, patronizing. i’m a typical leo. i’m faithful but patronizing.
(我屬獅子座。獅子座的優點是心胸寬闊、有愛心，以及忠誠；缺點則是專橫、自以為是。我就是典型的獅子座，忠誠卻又自負。)
2、i’m a person of principle. i do not compromise. because i don’t smoke , i do not wear a t-shirt with a marlboro logo, even if somebody gives one to me free.
我是個有原則的人，絕對不會妥協。因為我不抽菸，所以我也不會穿印有萬寶路字樣的t恤，即使有人免費送給我。
i’m a great salesman. i could sell a knockoff windows XX to bill gates.
我是一個很棒的推銷員，我能把盜版的windows XX賣給比爾*蓋茨。
3、i love shopping! my mom(friends) says, i should become a legislator ‘cause i bring so many bills into the house.
我酷愛買東西！所以我媽（朋友）說我應該當國會議員的。因為，我把那麼多的bill(賬單/請願書/法案)帶進了the house(家裡/議院)。

2、i am years old, born in province/beijing, northeast/southeast/southwest…… of china, and i am currently a freshman（大一新生）/sophomore（大二學生）/junior（大三學生）/senior（大四學生） student at capital institute of physical education.

3、 my major is sports training of basketball/voellyball/football/badminton/pingbang/tennis/

4、in the past 1/2/3 years, i spend most of my time on study. i have passed cet3/4/6 and i have acquired basic knowledge of sports training both in theory and in practice.
在過去的1/2/3年中，我把大量的時間用在學習上。我已經通過了大學英語2/3/4/6級。而且，我已經從理論和實踐二方面對運動訓練專業的基礎知識有了一個大致的瞭解。
5、besides, i have attended several sports meetings held in beijing. i am also the volunteers of china tennis open, chinese badminton masters…… . through these i have a deeply understanding of my major—sports training.
除此以外，我還參加了在北京舉行的許多運動會。我還是中國網球公開賽，羽毛球大師賽……的志願者。通過這些，我對運動訓練專業有了一個更深刻的瞭解。
6、i have lots of interest, such as singing, dancing, drawing and so on.
我有很多興趣愛好，如唱歌、跳舞、畫畫等。

i hope i can make a good performance today. i'm confident that i can succeed.
now i will introduce myself briefly
i am 26 years old,born in shandong province .
i was graduated from qingdao university. my major is i got my bachelor degree after my graduation in the year of XX.
i spend most of my time on study,i have passed cet4/6 . and i have acquired basic knowledge of my major during my school time.
in july XX, i begin work for a small private company as a technical support engineer in qingdao use i'm capable of more responsibilities, so i decided to change my job.
and in august XX,i left qingdao to beijing and worked for a foreign enterprise as a automation software test use i want to change my working environment, i'd like to find a job which is more challenging. morover motorola is a global company, so i feel i can gain the most from working in this kind of company ennvironment. that is the reason why i come here to compete for this position.

general introduction
i am a third year master major in automation at shanghai jiao tong university, p. r. china. with tremendous interest in industrial engineering, i am writing to apply for acceptance into your ph.d. graduate program.
education background
in 1995, i entered the nanjing university of science & technology (nust) -- widely considered one of the china’s best engineering schools. during the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. i was granted first class prize every semester,in 1999, i got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.
at the period of my graduate study, my overall gpa(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. in the second semester, i became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. this year, i won the acer scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. presently, i am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of excellent graduation thesis.
research experience and academic activity
when a sophomore, i joined the association of ai enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. with the tool of opengl and matlab, i designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. it is now widely used by different research groups in nust. i assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for nanjing sewage treatment plant. this was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
in retrospect, i find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the ph.d. program. my future research interests include: network scheduling problem, heuristic algorithm research (especially in ga and neural network), supply chain network research, hybrid system performance analysis with petri nets and data mining.
