對於黨史工作，我是一名新兵。之前，我從事了幾年的醫院行政管理工作。工作勤勤懇懇，年年也是先進，加上單位的工資效益不錯，為許多親朋好友所羨慕。但是，作為一名以寫作為樂的人來說，心裡總有個結沒有解開，心中總有個夢沒有實現，總覺得自己的專長還可以發揮得更好。2019年，我踏進黨史這個門檻。對於我的選擇，不少朋友無法理解。但是，我自己明白，自己所需要的是什麼，那就是一個可以實現寫作人夢想的平臺。在我內心深處，一直有一個聲音在呼喚，作為一個寫作者，你的作品在哪裡?所以，我義無返顧地放棄了杯觥交錯，選擇了每天下班後可以回家喝粥、看書、寫作的黨史工作。當然，對於有過太多應酬的人來說，晚上能夠回家喝碗熱粥，也是一件十分幸福的事。從感受全國、全區黨史工作會議的規模，再到今天看到如此多的領導、如此多的部門出席這個大會，使我更加堅信，我的選擇沒有錯。黨史工作也非常重要，黨史事業也大有幹頭。說到這裡，我突然想起了一句不太恰當的廣告語：不選貴的，只選對的!是的，選擇黨史，我無怨無悔!選擇黨史，只因我心中有夢想。二十多年的工作經歷告訴我，只要人生還有夢想，那工作就會更加努力。那是因為，夢想會激發我們通過自己的主觀努力去改變現狀，去創造輝煌。

選擇黨史，我享受快樂工作。來到了黨史，除了祕書科日常工作外，領導根據我的特長，還安排我負責主持《欽州大事速覽》的編輯工作。《欽州大事速覽》是一份主要記載欽州大事要事的內部刊物。我利用自己在日報當記者編輯十年時間所獲得的辦報知識和經驗，與同事們一道，對每期刊物進行精編細雕，力爭精確地把當今最新的黨史材料收錄下來，努力去實現“準確存史，資政育人，交流資訊，推動工作”的辦刊宗旨，得到了來自各方的肯定和鼓勵。

我常把工作當作事業來對待，所以，有時雖然幹得累而苦，但收穫到的卻是快樂。例如，去年是中華人民共和國成立60週年，自治區黨史研究室分配給我市一個黨史研究專題——中國共產黨在欽州執政60年的專題研究。這個任務後來落到了我這個黨史新手的肩上。接受任務後，我便沉下身去探求黨在欽州執政60年的歷史真相。經過兩個多月的努力，通過對黨在欽州各個時期的工作思路、發展戰略進行梳理，我得出了一個結論。那就是：中國共產黨在欽州執政60年，就是謀求欽州發展的60年，帶領欽州人民追求幸福生活的60年，始終為人民執好政、掌好權的60年。60年來，欽州歷屆黨委始終帶領欽州人民順應時代發展潮流，發揚“欽州精神”，探索出一條符合欽州實際的發展之路，騰飛之路。這條路，就是大港之路!接著，我就把這個成果寫成了27000多字的《大港之路》專題報告，編入了《騰飛廣西》一書，得到了領導的肯定和編輯的讚許。我也從中享受到了一個黨史工作者的快樂。

黨史宣傳普及教育工作，從全國範圍去講，都是一項要努力加強的工作。就我們欽州而言，現存的革命鬥爭史料，多是上百萬字的大部頭，但印數一般只有一兩千冊，所以，儘管其內容非常豐富，普通市民群眾卻不易讀到，老百姓因而對欽州黨史知之甚少，普及的任務任重而道遠。如何改變這一現狀呢?如何創新這項工作呢?我提出了藉助外力，請市內知名作家們來一起編寫一本簡明的黨史普及讀物的設想，得到了領導的認可和重視，去年把它列入紀念建國60週年的系列活動裡去。經過一年多的編寫、修改、校對，一本通俗易懂、生動活潑、全面準確地反映欽州革命歷史的光輝歷程的《欽州革命小故事》編成了，又一個成果呱呱落地。看到自己的一個又一個工作成績得到了認可，心中的夢一個又一個地實現，我的內心充滿了快樂感和成就感。
