Imagine a car without a steering wheel. Tough to imagine, right? Well, actually that’s the image you see if a person has no faith. Faith helps to guide us in our lives, encourage us to persist, and give directions when we are lost.
In this peaceful era, our life paths seem to be already well-planned and determined. What we have to do is to follow. Yes, we may face different sorts of challenges, but at least they are less harsh when compared to those in the past. We do not need to worry about starving to death, or how to earn enough money to buy food for our siblings and sustain our lives.
It is like driving from a muddy road into a highway. In the muddy road, path, you would say, as it is formed only by crossing on it many times, flattening the ground to form a smoother area so we can pass. The road is so bumpy and rough, with holes here and there and rocks lying all over. When we drive along this road, we have to be very careful, having a firm grip on the steering wheel, ready for a sudden turn or a large boulder that may appear any second. However, when we drive on a highway, everything becomes different. The road is smooth, straight, and visible. Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen; when I was in the primary school, I had a dream， I want to invent a device which could bring you from one place to another in no time at all. When I was in the secondary school, my dream was to study in my ideal university. And when eventually I got into the university, my dream was to graduate. How pathetic! When we grow up, we dream less and become more realistic. Why？ Why do we have to change our dreams, so, so in order to let it be “fulfilled”？ Why do we have to surrender to the so-called “reality”？ What is the reality actually？
Ladies and gentlemen, the reality is not real. It is barrier keeping us from all possible fantasies. Flying, for example, had been a dream to mankind for thousands of years. A hundred years ago, “man could not fly” was still regarded as the “reality”. Now if that was really the reality, what did the Wright brothers do？ How did some of you get to Macao？ Only when we believe that the reality is not real can we soar with our dreams. People say that our future is a battle between the reality and our dreams. And if, unfortunately, ity wins this war, then I see no future of mankind at all. AIDS will never be curable as this is the reality; People living in the undeveloped countries will suffer from starvation forever as this is the reality; Disputes among different countries would never be settled as this misunderstandings and intolerance is the reality.

開場白是演講稿中很重要的部分。好的開場白能夠緊緊地抓住聽眾的注意力，為整場演講的成功打下基礎。常用的開場白有點明主題、交代背景、提出問題等。不論哪種開場白，目的都是使聽眾立即瞭解演講主題、引入正文、引起思考等。
演講稿的正文也是整篇演講的主體。主體必須有重點、有層次、有中心語句。由於演講材料是通過口頭表達的，為了便於聽眾理解，各段落應上下連貫，段與段之間有適當的過渡和照應。
結尾是演講內容的收束。它起著深化主題的作用。結尾的方法有歸納法、引文法、反問法等。歸納法是概括一篇演講的中心思想，總結強調主要觀點;引文法則是引用名言警句，昇華主題、留下思考;反問法是以問句引發聽眾思考和對演講者觀點的認同。
演講稿的結尾也可以用感謝、展望、鼓舞等語句作結，使演講能自然收束，給人留下深刻印象。

We've all been taught that we should help people. It is the right thing to do and will make us popular with others. It may even win us favors in return. However, we must be realistic. We can't say yes to every request. If we did, we would fail or go crazy for sure. Sometimes we simply don't have the time to help. In this case, we must know how to say no politely.
When we need to say no, here is one method we can try. First, we should tell the truth. If we really can't do something, we should just say so. Second, we should remember to refuse requests politely. We must communicate clearly, but must also be sincere and sympathetic. A true friend will understand. Finally, we must not feel guilty about saying no. Sometimes refusing others is the right thing to do. It can save ourselves, and them, a lot of trouble. In short, we cannot please everyone all the time. Refusing favors is a part of life.
