aughty Monkey
It's very hot.. An old man is asleep on the chair. A fly comes and sits on the end of the man's nose.
The old man has a naughty monkey. He chases the fly.
The fly comes back again and sits on the old man's nose again. The monkey chases it away again and again.
This happens five or six times. The monkey is very angry. He jumps up, runs to the garden and picks up a large stone.
When the fly sits on the old man's nose again, the monkey hits it hard with the kills the fly and breaks the old man's nose.
調皮的猴子
天氣很熱。一位老人在椅子上睡著了。 一隻蒼蠅飛來落在老人的鼻子上。 老人有一隻頑皮的猴子。猴子在追打蒼蠅。 蒼蠅再次飛落在老人的鼻子上，猴子一再追打蒼蠅。 這樣往返了五六次，猴子很生氣。 他跳著跑到花園，撿起一塊大石頭。
當蒼蠅再次落在老人的鼻子上時，猴子用石頭擊中老人的鼻子上的蒼蠅。 他砸死了蒼蠅也打破了老人的鼻子。
The Thirsty Dog
A dog is very thirsty. But he only sees some empty pails. There is no water in them. The dog goes on looking for water. He comes to a small house. There is a girl in it. The girl goes out with a pail. “She goes to a well,” the dog thinks and follows her. The dog is right. The girl comes to a well and puts down the pail, and the pail is full of water, there the girl goes back to her house.
“Water! Great!” the dog says and runs to the well. He jumps into the well without thought.”
The water is good. The dog is happy and drinks much. But he can’t jump out of the well. He waits and waits. But no one comes. “I’m hungry now. I must go out,” he thinks.
At the time a thirsty goat comes to the well. He looks at the water and the dog. “Is he water good?” the goat asks. “Of course. Come down,” the dog says. Then the goat jumps into the well, too. Then dog is happy. He jumps on the goat’s back and jumps out of the well.
The dog has a look at the goat and says, “Goodbye!” Then he leaves.
一隻口渴的狗
有一隻狗口很渴，他只找到一些空空的水桶，裡面沒有水。他繼續找水。他來到一座小房子前面。房子裡住著一個小姑娘。小姑娘拎著只水桶出來了。 “她要去打水。”狗想道，並跟在她後面。果然不錯，小姑娘來到一口井邊，把水桶放入井裡，水桶水滿了。然後小姑娘回去了。
“水!太好了!”狗叫著跑過去。他想也沒想就跳下井去了。
井水真的不錯。狗可高興了。喝了許多水，但是他沒有辦法跳出來了。他等了好久，但是沒有人來。 “我餓了，我得出去。”他想著。
這時候一隻口渴的山羊到井邊來了，他看了看井水和這隻狗。“這水好和嗎?”山羊問狗：“當然了。快下來吧。“狗回答說。於是山羊也跳到井裡了。狗高興極了。他跳上山羊的背，又跳出了水井。 狗看了一眼山羊說聲：“再見。”就跑開了。
A Woman Who Fell
It was rush hour and I was dashing to a train in New York City's Grand Central Terminal - As I neared the gate， a plump， middle-aged woman sprinted up from behind， lost her footing on the smooth marble floor and slid onto her back。 Her momentum carried her close to my shoes。 Before I could help her， however， she had scrambled up。 Gaining her posure， she winked at me and said， "Do you always have beautiful women failing at your feet?"

But the teacher cried
The six-year-old John was terribly spoiled . His father knew it, but his grandma doted on him. He hardly left her side. And when he wanted anything, he either cried or threw a temper tantrum. Then came his first day of school, his first day away from his grandmother's loving arms.
When he came home from school his grandma met him at the door.
"Was school all right?" she asked, "Did you get along all right? did you cry?"
"Cry?" John asked. "No, I didn't cry, but the teacher did!"

These are angelfishes. The angelfishes have beautiful colors. This is a lobster. The lobster has strong claws. This is a jellyfish. The jellyfish has a soft body. They are different. But all of them live in the sea.

A Bet
Two pals are sitting in a pub watching the eleven-'clock news.A reporter comes on about a man threatening to jump from the 20th floor of a downtown friend turns to the other and says,'I'll bet you ten bucks the guy doesn't jump.'
'It's a bet,' agrees his buddy.
A few minutes later, the man on the ledge jumps,so the loser hands his pal a $10 bill.'I can't take your money,'his friend admits.'I saw him jump earlier on the six-o'clock news.'
'Me,too,'says the other buddy.'But I didn't think he'd do it again.
打賭
兩個好朋友正坐在一家小酒館內觀看十一點的電視新聞。一則新聞報道說，有個男人威脅要從商業區一座大樓的二十層跳下去。一位朋友轉身對另一位說道：“我敢賭十塊錢，那傢伙不會往下跳。”
“賭就賭，”他的朋友欣然同意。
幾分鐘後，站在牆簷上的男人跳了下去，因而賭輸的那位交給他的朋友一張十元的鈔票。“我不能拿你的錢，”他的朋友承認道，“早在六點的新聞裡，我就已見他跳下去了。”
“我也是，”另一位說，“可我想他不會再跳了!”
Lion was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his face. Rising up in anger, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the Mouse piteously
entreated, saying： “If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness.” The Lion laughed and let him go.
It happened shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse, recognizing his roar,
came up, and gnawed the rope with his teeth, and setting him free, exclaimed： “You ridiculed the idea of my ever being able to help you, not expecting to
receive from me any repayment of your favour; but now you know that it is possible for even a Mouse to confer benefits on a Lion.”
一隻老鼠從一隻獅子面前跑過去，將它從夢中吵醒。
獅子生氣地跳起來，捉住老鼠，要弄死它。老鼠哀求說：「只要你肯饒恕我這條小生命，我將來一定會報答你的大恩。」獅子便笑著放了它。
後來獅子被幾個獵人捉住，用粗繩捆綁倒在地上。老鼠聽出是獅子的吼聲，走來用牙齒咬斷繩索，釋放了它，並大聲說：「你當時嘲笑我想幫你的忙，而且也不指望我有什麼機會
報答。但是你現在知道了，就算是小老鼠，也能向獅子效勞的。」
