The sun has begun to set and I hang up the smile I’ve worn all day, thoughI will make sure it is the first thing I put back on in the morning just in caseit is “that day.” I want her to see me at my very best.
I do the normal routine, eat dinner, clean the house, write—the usualstuff. And then I lay down hoping to fall asleep quickly so my new day willhurry up and arrive. A new day with a brand new sun. But as I lay there and waitfor the world to turn half way around, I think about her. And sometimes I smile,and sometimes that smile will turn into asnicker, and then often that snickerwill turn into a burst of laughter.
And then there are times I get that lump in my throat and that tightfeeling in my chest, and sometimes that feeling overwhelms me and begins to turninto a tear, and often that tear multiplies itself and I can no longer fight thefeeling and I lose the battle. Then somehow through either the joy or thesadness I drift and find myself asleep. Then the dreams begin and keep mecompany until my new day arrives.
Everything about my future was ambiguously assumed. I would get into debtby going to college, then I would be forced to get a job to pay off that debt,while still getting into more and more debt by buying a house and a car. Itseemed like a never-ending cycle that had no place for the possibility of adream.
I want more—but not necessarily in the material sense of personal wealthand success. I want more out of life. I want a passion, a conceptual dream thatwouldn’t let me sleep out of pure excitement. I want to spring out of bed in themorning, rain or shine, and have that zest for life that seemed so intrinsic inearly childhood.
Failing is what makes us grow, it makes us stronger and more resilient tothe aspects of life we have no control over. The fear of failure, although, iswhat makes us stagnant and sad. So even though I couldn’t see the future asclearly as before, I took the plunge in hopes that in the depths of fear andfailure, I would come out feeling more alive than ever before.
In the flood of darkness, hope is the light. It brings comfort, faith, andconfidence. It gives us guidance when we are lost, and gives support when we areafraid. And the moment we give up hope, we give up our lives. The world we livein is disintegrating into a place of malice and hatred, where we need hope andfind it harder. In this world of fear, hope to find better, but easier said thandone, the more meaningful life of faith will make life meaningful.

Today is Saturday, I don’t need to go to school, so I decided to take somemorning exercises. Early in the morning, I went out of the house and lookedaround, the city was so quiet. With few cars, the air was fresh, I felt socomfortable. Besides the people who took the morning exercise, I found somepeople who worn the orange uniform, they were working. This was the first timefor me to see the cleaners work in the morning, they were easily neglected,because they worked so early and when the time for people to go to work,cleaners rested. Watching these cleaners working, I feel so thankful for them,they were doing the greatest job. People praised them as the city’s dressers,they kept the city clean all the time and brought comfort to people. They arethe respectable people, we should applause for them.

I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.
We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.
A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. I read a lot of articles, some from the university professor, some from the famous host, some from the college students, and even from junior high school students. I was surprised ,when the old man fell down in the street,We are afraid to help him.I was disappointed ,when someone do good things were reported,many people think he was affectation, I was sad,when I saw many of young people become indifferent ,fraud and lack of ideal.
Are we sick, or is our dear motherland sick?
我很驚訝，當大街上有老人摔倒，我們不敢再去扶起;我很難過，當有人做了好事被報道，更多的人說他做作;我很傷心，當我看到我們眾多的青年人變得冷漠、市儈、欺詐以及缺乏理想。
到底是我們病了，還是我們親愛的祖國病了?
I don't want to talk about the construction of our country politics, and also speak impassioned speech on the Diaoyu Island event .I just want to appeal young people,showing the side of youth,good and must learn to organize our own thoughts, correct our own concept, and change our direction to the right side in future life. China dream actually lies in our young generation, especially of the intellectuals.
我的中國夢，不想大談政治，也不想對釣魚島事件發表慷慨激昂的演講。我只想呼籲，呼籲我們年輕人，呼籲我們祖國的希望能夠將我們的青春一面，將我們的善良一面，將我們的自信一面好好展現出來。我們要學會整理自己的思想，端正自己看問題的觀念，擺正自己的人生方向。我們的中國夢實際上正掌握在我們自己手上，掌握在我們年青一代，尤其是知識分子手上。
Perhaps the strength of a person is small, but when his or her fate is connected with the motherland, he or she will be hero or heroine. Perhaps a dream is tiny, but when it becomes the dream of a country, it becomes inestimable. Perhaps I cannot change our country by my own, but if thousands and thousands of young people struggle for the dream together, our motherland is enough to make the world shock.
也許，一個人，是渺小的;但是當他和祖國聯絡起來時，就是偉大的。也許，一個夢想，是渺小的，但是當它成為祖國的夢想時，就是不可估量的。也許，我無法用自己一個人的力量撬起整個中國，但是我們千千萬萬年輕人一起為祖國的夢想去奮鬥時，我們的祖國就足以令世界顫抖、動容。
I dream to construct our beauty China with millions of young people who have the same dream. We do it without exaggeration but only with persistence.
我夢想和萬千具有相同夢想的年輕人去建設我們的美麗中國，沒有虛浮，只有執著，只有奮鬥，只有勇於擔當。這就是我的中國夢!
