Ladies and Gentlemen: My topic is Honesty.
As a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman,the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’stooth. This is a true story.
65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. Heoften visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there,which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted oneto keep as a treasure.
In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had toleave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one ofthe teeth from the dragon’s mouth.
He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at havingstolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on hisconscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decidedto put right his childish error. In 20__, he visited Qingdao and returned it tothe Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.
When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported onhis visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I thinkto err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correctone’s error.
Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep anhonest mind in everything we say and do. I would like to say to all of myfriends: Let’s be honest people of good moral character.

The national student sports program, waged by the Ministry of Education and aimed at improving students health, was held from 10：00a.m.~11: April 29，2019 in many primary and middle schools all over China. Almost 11 million students in Jiangsu province participated in this program.
The Ministry of Education advocates that we do exercises for one hour a day and can work healthily for 50 years. Our whole life will be very enjoyable.

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began tonarrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL andMatlab, I designed a simulationprogram for transportation scheduling system. Itis now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilleda sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewagetreatment plant. Thiswas my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory andexperience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future researchinterests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybridsystem performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed-we hold theses truths to be self-Oevident, that all men are created equal. I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, sons of former slaves and sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood. I have a dream my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. i have a dream today! When we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and hamlet, from every state and city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children-black men and white men , jews and Gentiles, Catholics and Protestants-will be able to join hands and to sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, “free at least ,free at last . If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance(毅力)more often, andnever give up a thing because it was hard or inconvenient. If we want light, wemust conquer darkness. Perseverance can sometimes equal genius in its results.“There are only two creatures,” says a proverb, “who can surmount thepyramids—the eagle and the snail.”
If I were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; Iwould let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. I would remember thata good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once. The habit ofattention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. I often heargrown-up people say “I could not fix my attention on the lecture or book,although I wished to do so” , and the reason is, the habit was not formed inyouth.
If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to thecultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possiblemeans, and on every possible occasion. It takes a little hard work at first toremember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very littletrouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power.
If I were a boy again, I would look on the cheerful side. Life is very muchlike a mirror: if you smile upon it, I smile back upon you; but if you frown andlook doubtful on it, you will get a similar look in return.

Finally, instead of trying hard to be happy, as if that were the solepurpose of life, I would, if I were a boy again, I would still try harder tomake others happy.
I received a devastating blow to my self-confidence in the first interview of my college years. I applied to be a host in our Student Acting Troupe and felt confident that I would be accepted. But one of the panel members told me: "You seem inadequate and you are a little vertically-challenged." My life has never been the same since. I used bigger heels to complement my height and psychological maneuvers and tricks to hide my lack of confidence. But no matter how hard I tried to look the part, there was still something missing.
As president of English Club, I organized the rehearsal of Snow White for an English party. Unfortunately, we could not find an actor to be the last dwarf. It had to be someone who was humorous by nature and fluent in English. Suddenly, all eyes turned to me, and I knew I would have to be the dwarf. To my great surprise and delight, once on stage, I was totally absorbed in the performance and my humorous nature was put to full use. As the dwarf, I was a big hit.
Yes, each of us is only one among millions of others, but each of us is an individual and each of us is unique. Cultivating our individuality will transform our lives, making of them a kaleidoscope of new colors and textures.
A world deprived of diversity would be a bland and boring place. The real tragedy is not being short or shy or ugly, but having your identity lost in a world in which everyone is a clone of a model cool boy or a flawless charming girl.
Given a choice, I would rather be ugly than live in such a world. I'd rather be a genuine dwarf accompanying a Snow White than be a Snow White among nothing but Snow Whites. I would rather be myself. I would contribute my individual and unique colors to create a more diverse universe. Please, be yourself.
Time is money,which means time is limited and everyone should save o make full use of time:
Firstly,you should make a good maybe have many things to do in is necessary to make a plan,which help you what time you will dosomething,which make you do everything in a good order.
Secondly,do what you have made the is very important to doeverything according to your you don't do so,everything that you haveplanned won't be finished,and you'll put off everything that you'll dotomorrow.
Thirdly,giving up something that you can't do even if you have made everyeffort,which doesn't mean your failure,because,sometimes,giving up somethingwill make you get more things.
Fourthly,it is necessary for you to make a scientific time hould know you well so that you can arrange time the place youstudy is noisy,you can make notes and go over what you have theplace you study is very peaceful,you can do the most important things,forexample,do mathmatics and so on.
In a word,you will make great progress if you make use of your timefully.
人人都說上課發言需用勇氣，誰說不是呢。今天老師說了只要沒上過臺的小組就要挨罰。我們組據差點挨罰了呢!
事情是這樣的：我們今天有兩節課，第一節課的氣氛好不錯，有許多小組都上臺展示了，為了是這種濃厚的學習氣氛更充分的在班內洋溢，老師就在下課的時候說每個小組必須上臺，不然就有加罰。這可為難了我們組。
為了不能加罰我們是拼了命的練習，終於上課了。一上課老師就開始進行小組展示，第一個上的是王佩雲他們組，說實話他們組展示的還真不錯，加入了許多人物對話和動作。
當我們組要向他們組發起挑戰時，老師居然沒叫我們。接下來一連好幾次都是這樣。最後我們組生氣了，老師讓我們交流完第八段後，我們毅然的舉起了手，老師叫我們了。我們太興奮了，以至於興奮的忘了詞。輪到我們的時候我忘了怎莫說。還好因為周老師問大家是不是沒準備好。大家說是，所以我們又準備了一會。

It's a great honor for me to stand here to deliver a speech to you. Then today I want to talk something about dreams and reality.
As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy said, “Ideal is the beacon. Without ideal, there is no secure direction; without a direction, there is no life.” So there’s no doubt that everyone needs his or her own ideal. Have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible will connect with our most treasured dreams? Maybe, to somebody, reality has little relation to ideal. To others nothing can be done without the sense of reality. So make our dreams a part of our reality. And make our reality a part of our dreams. There is no reason why our dreams must oppose our reality. Improve our dreams and our reality by bringing them together.
As a university student, establishing a dream is one of the most important things we have to do everyone must see the reality clearly at first. Your family condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse, your subject and the job you want to do, these things show you the reality and lead you to establish a dream.
Further more, difficult or otherwise, we should put the power of reality into our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing our dreams. Do believe that we can achieve our ideal step by step by the passage of time!
