記得有一次，上數學課，老師佈置我們做正本作業，要求當堂做好交上來，否則中午不能回家。這時，我發現我的作業本用完了，此時的我就象熱鍋上的螞蟻一樣急得團團轉，就在這時，同桌小東關心地問我：“是不是沒有本子啊?我這還有一本你先拿去用吧!”聽了這句話我如釋重負，打心眼裡感激小東，並信誓旦旦地說：“謝謝你，我明天一定會把本子還給你的。”說完我拿過本子認真地做起作業來。
第二天，當我拿著媽媽給我買新本子的錢時，有一個念頭從我腦海中閃過：如果不把本子還給小東的話，我就可以得到這筆錢;而另一個念頭同時也在我的腦海中閃過並佔據了上風：如果不把本子還給小東的話就會讓別人看不起，若讓別的同學知道了，那我不是再也交不到朋友了。整整一個早上，我都在想這個問題，經過一些時間的思想鬥爭，我終於想通了，我一定要把本子還給小東，因為誠信是人生中最重要的東西，不管是什麼都比不過它。當我把新本子還給小東時，他接過本子，高興地對我說：“海騰，你真誠實，一本本子值不了多少錢，再說我也忘了，你卻記得還我，謝謝你了。”聽了他的話，我心裡比吃了蜜還甜。誠信讓我收穫了快樂和幸福。
