大家好!
我叫孟國棟。幼年時曾作過許多色彩斑斕的夢，當個播音員、或者當一名電視節目主持人是我最大的夢想。於是，我利用一切機會學播音，練演講，說相聲，打快板，表演舞蹈，主持節目。我參加爸爸所在部隊的春節文藝晚會，我表演的快板書繞口令受到戰士們的熱烈歡迎。我深深的知道，作一名合格的播音員或者電視節目主持人是一件非常不容易的事情，成長的道路上會有成功的喜悅，但更多的是失敗的沮喪;會有收穫的幸福，但更多的是耕耘的艱辛。但我有勇氣、有決心去面對這一切。於是，今天，我站在了同學們中間。我和在座的同學們一樣，渴望展翅高飛，渴望將來有更大的發展空間，有施展才華的更廣闊的天地。我想，有耕耘就會有收穫。未來的四年裡，由各位老師的傾情傳授，我們一定會有一個無限美好的未來。
好詩好畫好山水，鄉曲鄉音鄉情美，一曲龍船調，迴繞洞庭北。兩江匯流，三鎮鼎立，九省通衢。我的家鄉是湖北省的省會——美麗的江城武漢。親不夠的是巍然屹立黃鶴樓，看不夠的是晴川芳草鸚鵡洲，唱不夠的是長堤畫廊鋪錦繡，愛不夠的是東湖碧波盪溫柔。
故鄉不僅美麗，而且深邃。揮卻世紀的風煙，掀開歲月的史冊，美麗的江城，孕育了多少民族的精英、革命的先輩;譜寫過多少傳世的詩章、不朽的讚歌。在她的身邊，辛亥革命的鉤刺挑落了封建君主最後一頂皇冠;在她的胸前，無產階級的鐵錘迸出罷工怒潮的鋼花鐵火。浩浩蕩蕩的長江啊，是中國近代革命史最權威的見證。看不盡那裡滄桑的疊映，講不完那裡歷史的厚重，那截江流曾載走多少不屈的吶喊，那片土地曾淹沒多少不死的英靈。那裡曾飄走惆悵萬千的孤帆遠影，那裡曾響起搗毀帝制的激烈炮聲。那裡的人民曾傾城出動，和祖國一起迎來新生;那裡的人民曾充滿豪情，歡呼改革大潮澎湃洶湧。今天，那裡的大地已是碩果累累，那裡的藍天已是萬里碧空，那就我可愛的家——武漢市武昌城。

good morning,my dear teachers,my dear professors.i am very glad to be here for your name is song yonghao,i am 22 years old .i come from luoyang,a very beautiful aicent undergratuade period will be accomplished in changan university in july ,20xx;and now,i am trying my best for obtaining a key to tongji university.
generally speaking ,i am a hard working student especially do the thing i am interested in. i will try my best to finish it no matter how difficult it is. when i was sophomore, i found web design very interesting, so i learned it very hard . to weaver a homepage for myself, i stayed with my pesonel computer for half a month.,and i am the first one in my class who own his homepage. forthermore,i am a person with great perserverence. during the days preparing for the first examination,i insist on running every day, no matter what the weather was just owning to this,i could concentrate on my study and succeeded in the end.
well ,in my spare time ,i like basketball, tennis and chinese chess. also english is my favorate.i often go to english corner to practise my oral english on every thursday,and write compositions to improve my witten ability i know my english is not good enough ,i will continue studying.

i am from luoyang,a beautiful city in henan province. it is famous as the capital of nine dynasties and enjoy yhe honer that luoyang peony is the best in the world.
luoyang played a very important role in chinese history. so it has a profound cultural background and many great heritagesites have been well reverved. such as longmen grotto, one of the three grottoes in china ang white horse temple, being regarded as the cradle of chnese buddhism.
luoyang peony is world-famous. every year, many tourists travel to luoyang to see the beauty of peony people in my hometown are friendly, they welcome the travellers from all over the world.
i like my hometown very much.
I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.
Education background
In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.
At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of excellent Graduation Thesis.
Research eXPerience and academic activity
When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a com#mercial product.
In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and eXPerience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.
